Mesut Ozil is delighted with his first weeks at Arsenal.

Ozil has been outstanding since his arrival from Real Madrid.

"I don't want to praise myself too much but I think my statistics are good. I would like to score more goals," he replied when asked about his performance during a Twitter Q&A session.

When quizzed about who his favourite player was, the playmaker's answer was "Zinedine Zidane", whom he worked with at Real Madrid.

Ozil appears to have settled quickly into the Arsenal side, and feels the fans have played a major part in that, adding: "They [the fans] have been very positive and I know they have a lot of support for me."

The German midfielder also admitted he was taken aback by the level of quality in the Arsenal side, saying: "I don't just want to say one player [who is the best]; I am surprised by the technical quality of the whole team."
