Mesut Ozil is expected to make his Arsenal debut when his new club travels to Sunderland on Saturday.
The Gunners' club-record signing from Real Madrid is fit and firing after playing 90 minutes in Friday's 3-0 World Cup qualifying win over Austria and scoring from the penalty spot in Tuesday's 3-0 victory over Faroe Islands.
Ozil is likely to replace injured Czech midfielder Tomas Rosicky in the Arsenal line-up which took to the pitch for the 1-0 win over Tottenham on September 1 despite only having had two full training sessions with the North Londoners.
Ozil's debut comes as Arsenal sits fourth on the Premier League table whilst Sunderland find themselves wallowing in 19th.
