Mesut Ozil says quitting Real Madrid for Arsenal was the "perfect decision". The midfielder signed for the Gunners in August for a club record £42.7 million.
"It's very exciting," Ozil told arsenal.com. "This is a perfect decision for me and I'm looking forward to it all.
"I chose Arsenal because they are one of the top clubs in England.
"The coach is a world-class manager - he has demonstrated that for years.
"A lot of players have developed under his guidance in the past and that's why I decided to come here. I want to improve further. Arsenal are well known for the strength of their technical game and their desire to play attacking football, and I think I will fit perfectly into that."
