Oxlade-Chamberlain: Where I prefer playing for Arsenal...

Arsenal ace Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain says that he prefers to play in central midfield.

The 23-year-old has been predominantly used in wide positions by manager Arsene Wenger, but the Frenchman has maintained that he is best suited to play in the centre of the pitch.

Wenger was forced to use Chamberlain in midfield in recent weeks due to a combination of injuries and suspension, and the England international rose to the occasion with some impressive performances.

"Definitely central midfield," he told Arsenal Player.

"Then right or left, I don't really mind.

"Some days I feel when I go on the left it's more unnatural and you tend to cut in on your stronger foot like Alexis [Sanchez] does well.

"I find it easier to take people on when I'm on the right and use my pace and go down the outside.

"Right and left I have good days and bad days so I probably couldn't pick."
