Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ramsey back in contention as Arsenal prepare for life without Coquelin

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to provide Arsenal with an injury boost this week.

The 22-year-old winger, who can also operate in central midfield, will return to training on Wednesday after missing the past month with a hamstring injury.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is targeting a return to action in Sunday's Premier League clash with Norwich City which will come just a week after Francis Coquelin was ruled out for two months with a knee problem.

Aaron Ramsey is also close to a return and was included in the subs for tonight's Champions League meeting with Dinamo Zagreb.

Of the midfield injury worries, manager Arsene Wenger spoke carefully as he looks forward without key defensive mid Coquelin.

"Coquelin will be out beyond the new year. It is at least two months, but we have had so many bad surprises that I do not want to speculate more than that," said the Frenchman.

"Ramsey has only had one training session with the team. Until the Sheffield Wednesday game we had a good injury record but we have lost a few since."
