Oxlade-Chamberlain keen to secure Arsenal future

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has revealed that he is determined to win a new contract with Arsenal.

The highly-rated 19-year old winger has impressed since his arrival from Southampton last summer and even though there is nothing on the table, he would be open to signing a new deal with the Gunners.

Oxlade-Chamberlain was called up to Roy Hodgson's England squad for their upcoming 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine starting on Friday and after his Three Lions duties, is looking to become a regular at club level.

"I haven't given that too much thought at the moment," he said of his Arsenal future.

"I'm here to play for England this week so that's the only thing I'm really concentrating on.

"Obviously if Arsenal and myself wanted to sit down and talk about anything like that then that's really good because I'm loving my time at Arsenal.

"I'm really enjoying playing for them so I'm planning on being there for a while so that's good.

"The only thing I'll be focusing on when I get back is working hard and getting in the team again."
