Arsenal youngster Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain felt he and his teammates were without a killer final ball in Tuesday night's Champions League draw with Bayern Munich.
The Gunners fought hard for a 1-1 result at the Allianz Arena which wasn't enough to see them through to the quarter-finals as the reigning champions won 3-1 on aggregate following the win in north London last month.
Arsenal battled against a strong Bayern outfit in Munich and produced a couple of great scoring chances in the second half but it wasn't enough as the impressive Oxlade-Chamberlain pointed out on ITV following the two-legged defeat.
"Maybe we lacked a bit of quality with our final ball," the 20-year old midfielder said.
"I thought we got into a lot of dangerous positions we just lacked to find that final cutting-edge ball tonight and at the top level you need to be able to do that - especially against a team like Bayern.
"Maybe tonight we were just lacking that, but the boys put in a great shift tonight and we can take away positives and be proud of our effort today."
