Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain says fans have the right to jeer - though he still backs manager Arsene Wenger.
Sunday's controversial substitution during defeat to Manchester United fixed the spotlight on 18-year-old Oxlade-Chamberlain, who faced the awkward questions about the crowd reaction with the same remarkable poise he showed against United.
He said: "It was hard not to hear it, there were a lot of fans.
"But the fans pay money to come and watch us, so they have the right to show their frustration.
"All I can say we're all working very hard and try to correct the mistakes.""It's nice to know the fans enjoyed your performance but it's the manager's decision. Arsene Wenger has done a lot for this club, so whatever decision he makes I'll have to respect.
