Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes two of his key attackers are starting to have a positive impact on each other.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored a brace in Tuesday night's EFL Cup fourth-round win over Reading to take his season tally to five which is his most for the Gunners.
His positive form is coinciding with that of Theo Walcott, who has eight in all competitions this term, and Wenger feels the duo are helping one another push on and get the most out of their respective games.
On the scoring form of 'The Ox', Wenger told Arsenal.com: "That's certainly linked with confidence, hard work in training, and he looks to be following Theo Walcott in that way."
Wenger also played down suggestions that Oxlade-Chamberlain and Walcott are unable to play in the same starting XI.
"They are lifting each other but they can also play on both flanks," he added.
