Huddersfield Town midfielder James Payne is on the move.

The Mirror says Payne could be allowed to leave Premier League new boys Huddersfield.

Oxford are leading the chase ahead of League One rivals Charlton to land the 22 year-old on loan.

Payne is understood to believe he will have more chance of securing regular football at Oxford while The U's new boss Pep Clotet also made a positive impression during talks.
