Portsmouth have moved quickly after the lifting of the transfer embargo and signed Quincy Owusu-Abeyie from Spartak Moscow on loan until the end of the season. The former Arsenal forward has had loan spells with the likes of Spanish outfit Celta Vigo, Birmingham and Cardiff in the past few years.

The 23-year-old has been with Spartak since January 2006 but has made less than 30 league appearances for the Russian giants.
