Portsmouth boss Michael Appleton has concerns after co-owner Vladimir Antonov was arrested on alleged fraud charges. Appleton, who took charge at Fratton Park earlier this month, secured his first point as boss in Saturday's 1-1 stalemate with Leicester.
He acknowledged it had been a difficult few days leading up to the match and is hoping the situation will be resolved.
"This has been traumatic," said Appleton. "I have tried to keep it away from the players as best I can but it has been difficult because they want to know what is going on.
"Having just arrived at the club it was not something I ever expected. I had sat down with the owners and discussed a five-year plan and visions for the future.
"All I and the players can do is keep going and hope it all sorts itself out. But this is a worry for all of us."
