Michael Owen believes he can win trophies at Newcastle United.

The £17million hitman said: "I chose to come to Newcastle because I though I was lacking a little bit in Spain. I wasn't getting up in the morning and feeling excited. But you get that excitement here.

"If you're asking about dreams, then I'd dream to win something at Newcastle. A trophy here would be fabulous. That is what we are in the game for."
