Owen disappointed after Man Utd fail to capitalise

Goalscorer Michael Owen was left disappointed after helping Manchester United to a 2-2 draw with Bolton on Sunday.

The ex-Liverpool star netted an equaliser 16 minutes from time to give United a share of the spoils at Reebok Stadium but after Chelsea and Arsenal both dropped points on Saturday, Owen said the failure to capitalise on those results left things a bit sour.

"Scoring goals has always been part of my career, but this one is tinged with a bit of disappointment at not getting three points," said Owen.

"Were helped with a few nice results yesterday but when you don't capitalise fully it is disappointing. It is a long season and we will bounce back."
