Michael Owen is desperate for Manchester United teammate Wayne Rooney to break his England scoring drought.
Owen can see Rooney's frustration, even during last night's win over Slovenia.
He wrote in his column for the Telegraph: "My only wish now is for Wayne Rooney to get the goal that will really lift his confidence, because England need him to score at least a couple of goals if they are to go a long way in the tournament.
"He has always been a true team player, but while everyone will be really high after the Slovenia game, Wayne will have come away wanting to have scored.
"I thought he did well before coming off, but the easiest way to get your confidence back is by scoring goals."
