Michael Owen is happy to wait for his chance at Manchester United.
Owen struck the winner for United in last night's friendly win over Barcelona.
He was delighted when Sir Alex extended his contract by a year and said: "I know I'm not first choice but there will be many games the team will play and there will be many opportunities for me, I'm sure of that.
"The manager has a big squad and there will be half-a-dozen players not even getting stripped. But if we're going to be successful we'll need as many top players as possible."
