Michael Owen has confessed to fans that he's fed-up with Newcastle United's off-the-field turmoil.
The club are currently looking for a new owner and Owen admits all the early season optimism around St James' Park was quickly lost as a result of the upheaval after Kevin Keegan's departure.
Owen, writing in the club's matchday programme, said: "It would be nice to just have one season where the off-the-field distractions that seem to follow the club didn't happen. But we still have the FA Cup to go for and there are an awful lot of important points to be played for over the rest of the season.
"You start off the season full of optimism but unfortunately a lot of our optimism was dashed quite early on this season."
