Arsenal will be able to sign Ajax duo Kasper Dolberg and Matthijs de Ligt - if they hire Marc Overmars as their new sporting director.

Overmars is among a number of candidates being considered to take over from Richard Law.

He is currently the director of football at the Amsterdam club and that connection could help bring the talented pair to London.

Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona are also interested in the two players, especially 20-year-old Dolberg, who was instrumental in Ajax's run to the Europa League final last season.

18-year-old de Ligt is already being lined as one of the future stalwarts of the Dutch national team.

The Gunners are also considering Barcelona's own sporting director, Raul Sanllehi, as an option to replace Law at the end of the season.
