Ajax chief Marc Overmars insists there's been no bid from Tottenham for star duo Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld.

Overmars has confirmed a bid from an unnamed club for defender Alderweireld.

But he insisted to Voetbal International that talk of a Spurs bid for both players were wide of the mark.
