Roma's three South American outcasts could be on their way out.

Gazzetta dello Sport says after Walter Sabatini's sudden departure, he could be followed in January by Juan Iturbe, Gerson and Alisson.

All three players were brought to Roma by Sabatini, but has battled to win over coach Luciano Spalletti.

It's suggested the trio now have the coming weeks to convince Spalletti about their quality before the winter transfer window.

Gerson and Alisson formally joined Roma this summer, while Iturbe returned after a difficult loan with Bournemouth.
