Inter Milan are closing in on a loan move for Southampton striker Dani Osvaldo.
The controversial 28-year old is unlikely to remain with the Saints this season after being involved in a violent incident with teammate Jose Fonte last term.
Osvaldo, who spent the second part of last season on loan with Juventus, will cost Inter a loan fee plus a permanent fee of around £6million next summer.
Included in the deal, according to the Daily Mail, is Nerazzurri midfielder Saphir Taider who will make his way to St Mary's Stadium.
The 22-year old Algeria international is poised to join the Saints as confirmed by new manager Ronald Koeman.
"We are looking for the best for Osvaldo and the best for the club," Koeman said.
"Taider brings quality and we need that. We need competition in the squad as well and that will be good."
