Atalanta chief Giancarlo Osti remains confident coach Gigi del Neri will sign his new contract.

"I think it's best to not make any big declarations about this," he told Tuttomercatoweb.it. "We will only talk about Del Neri's contract when we have secured survival.

"There is still a long time to go in the season and we have to keep working at 100 per cent.

"We have met with the Coach a couple of times to talk about the future and there is no discord.

"But at the moment it is out of place to talk about programmes, projects and the market."
