Sampdoria chief Carlo Osti admits they're interested in Udinese striker Luis Muriel.

Muriel was tipped to sign for Samp before Christmas.

"We are evaluating many things on the market, including the system, which could change based on players who come in," director of sport Osti told Sky Sport Italia.

"We like Muriel, but other clubs like him too and right now he is an Udinese player. In any case, it's right to focus on tonight's important match."
