Leon Osman was delighted for Nikica Jelavic over his matchwinning performance in Everton's victory over Tottenham.

The former Rangers striker struck the only goal of the game on Saturday.

"I think he has been showing he is capable of that in training and when he was at Rangers," said Osman.

"He seems to be able to finish anything - it is what strikers do, they are instinctive. He seemed to know that was how he was going to finish it and it was a good goal."
