Leon Osman hailed matchwinner Tim Cahill after Everton's victory at Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

Like his manager, Osman also paid tribute to match winner Cahill, pointing out that it was typical of the Australian to provide the last-ditch heroics.

"He's a tremendous player and he can jump like nobody else - his spring is second to none," Osman told evertonTV. "We managed to get him free in the box and he did the rest. It's great to have players who can score important goals at important times and he did that on Saturday."
