Everton midfielder Leon Osman admits they're still adjusting to manager Roberto Martinez's style of play.
Everton drew 2-2 at Norwich City in Saturday's Premier League opener.
"We showed our intent in our passing play and played some really good stuff at times," he told evertontv.
"For the first goal we passed it around well, managed to get it to Ross Barkley on the edge of the box and he showed the quality that we all know he has got.
"If you have a bit of the ball and you are passing it around and creating openings then you are going to enjoy the game.
"But you have also got to be aware that you aren't going to keep the ball for the whole 90 minutes and you have to be in the right positions when you give the ball away."
