Australia coach Holger Osieck has confirmed that star midfielder Tim Cahill will be fit for Tuesday night's (Wednesday 3:00am AEDT) Asian Cup semi-final against Uzbekistan.
The Everton man got up for the Socceroos' quarter-final bout with Iraq despite having a corked thigh and later hurting his ankle prior to being subbed off.
But Osiekc revealed to reporters in Doha that Cahill will indeed be in fine fettle to take on the Uzbeks in the final four match.
"There's no worry about Tim Cahill at all. He is fit, he's in good spirits and there is no question about him playing on Tuesday," the German said.
