John O'Shea says the Sunderland squad are "delighted" for Jack Colback following the young midfielder's first goal for the club.

The young midfielder struck in their draw with Everton.

"When Jack's in the team you know the honesty and hard work you're going to get from him," the former Manchester United man told safc.com.

"But he also brings us real quality. He has many positive attributes and as a local lad we're all really pleased for him.

"We were joking that the goal might be taken away from him, but he insists it's his so we'll have to give it to him!"
