Forgotten man Isaiah Osbourne will give his Aston Villa career one last go when he returns for the final year of his contract next week, reports the Birmingham Mail. Osbourne has been nowhere near the Villa first team since brief cameos in the Peace Cup tournament in Spain almost 12 months ago.
But the 22-year-old midfielder will report for pre-season training with Villa's senior squad next Thursday determined to make an impression.
Osbourne spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough following a stint in the Championship with Nottingham Forest the previous year.
His last competitive appearance for Villa's first team came in the controversial UEFA Cup defeat at CSKA Moscow in February last year.
