Jose Luis Mendilibar is to become new coach of Osasuna.

Mendilibar will replace Jose Antonio Camacho, who was sacked after Osasuna dropped into the relegation zone at the weekend.

A statement on the Osasuna website read: "Jose Luis Mendilibar is the new coach of Osasuna. The definitive agreement between the club and the coach was reached this evening and, pending the signing, Mendilibar will occupy the bench until June 30, 2012."

Mendilibar will be presented this afternoon.
