Osasuna have unveiled Xavier Margairaz as their latest signing.

The former FC Zurich midfielder moves to Pamplona on a Bosman and becomes Osasuna's second summer capture after Nastic striker Javier Portillo.

Osasuna sports chief Juanjo Lorenzo said: "He's a player who is developing, is improving and will have to work hard to reach the level of our current team. However, he has a lot of quality and will add a different option to our attacking game."

Meanwhile, Lorenzo also confirmed that striker Pierre Webo had rejected a new three-year contract offer and "was no longer part of the club".
