Juanma Ortiz looks likely to return to Spanish club Almeria this summer.
The 30-year old winger is currently on the books at Rangers, who he joined last summer from Almeria, but was sent back to his former club on loan in January.
Almeria are owed £500,000 from the initial transfer but are willing to waive that if 'Gers send him back permanently to Andalusia with the player open to the move if it were a possibility.
"It is in the hands of Almeria, my agent and Rangers," said Ortiz.
