Brett Ormerod has signed a new contract with relegated club Blackpool.

The 34-year old has made well over 200 appearances for the Seasiders in two spells - his first being between 1997 and 2001.

Ormerod returned to the club in 2009 and was an integral part of Ian Holloway's squad which gained promotion to the Premier League last season.

He has signed a one-year contract extension to remain at Bloomfield Road for another season in the Championship.
