Blackpool's Brett Ormerod admits he is still cannot believe the prospect of playing in the Premier League with the club where it all began for him. The striker - who netted the winning goal in Blackpool's play-off final triumph at Wembley in May - first arrived at Bloomfield Road in 1997 before gaining experience of the top flight with Southampton.
And the 33-year-old told The Sun: "I'd be lying if I ever said I imagined playing for Blackpool.
"I try not to look back too much at the moment but I didn't expect anything like this. It will be nice to look back in years on everything.
"I just want to look forward at the moment and just keep going. I'm really enjoying it.
"I said when I came back here that if I had half as good a time as I did last time, I'd be a happy man but I've had to quadruple that."
