Orlando City owner Flavio Augusto Da Silva has confirmed his club's interest in Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Real Madrid superstar continues to be linked with a future move to Major League Soccer and Lions chief Da Silva told Spanish publication Marca that the first-tier top flight outfit are seriously considering going after the 30-year-old.
Da Silva also suggested he would prefer former Manchester United ace Ronaldo over Barcelona's Lionel Messi from both a playing and commercial standpoint.
"Truthfully, we like Cristiano Ronaldo a lot. We'd sign him without thinking about it," Da Silva said.
"Physically, he's more complete than [Leo] Messi, and he'd make more of an impact on a marketing level in MLS than the Argentine. Hopefully, we can sign him for this upcoming season.
"We've always heard that he'd like to come to the United States to play."
