Orlando City SC owner John Bonner was revelling in the newly-acquired partnership struck up with Brazilian entrepreneur Flavio Augusto da Silva.
The Rio de Janeiro-born multi-millionaire will pour in as much as $80million into the North American Soccer League club as they seek to become the newest MLS franchise and Bonner is excited about what lies ahead.
"When this began, I would have been grateful for anyone to come up with the money," Bonner told the Orlando Sentinel. "In the end, we had a choice of who to pursue, and it was an easy one.
"Flavio is international. He's a marketer. He's passionate. He loves soccer. He has all the money. He's well-mannered. You couldn't have gotten a better partner."
