Orlando City, which is poised to make its Major League Soccer debut next season, has signed a multi-year agreement with Subway Restaurants, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. Subway will be designated as the club's official sub sandwich partner and training restaurant, although no financial details were made available.
Subway and the club will work together on a series of promotions in the coming months, ahead of the team's debut in America's leading professional soccer league.
"We are so excited about this multi-year deal, and are equally excited about MLS soccer coming to Orlando," said Peter DiPasqua, a local Subway franchisee and chief executive of DiPasqua Enterprises.
"We feel that Subway and Orlando City are a great fit, because Subway provides soccer players of all ages the opportunity to eat healthy and fresh, and grab a quick meal either before a game or in between games."
