Orlando City lose Molino for remainder of season

Orlando City SC have announced that Kevin Molino could be out for the rest of the MLS season.

The 24-year old forward sustained a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee in Saturday's international friendly with Brazilian side Ponte Preta at the Citrus Bowl.

Trinidad & Tobago international Molino is now set to be sidelined for the remainder of the 2015 campaign after featuring in seven matches since the expansion club's step up to the USA and Canada's top flight.

"We are obviously devastated for Kevin," said head coach Adrian Heath.

"He was having a great start to the season, his first in MLS. He'll work with the team physicians from Orlando Health to make sure he undergoes a full recovery and comes back in top form."
