Orlando City Soccer Club have added yet another sponsor to their commercial portfolio ahead of their long-awaited Major League Soccer (MLS) debut, reports, www.sportspromedia.com. Publix Super Markets has become a founding partner of the Florida club, as well as their official and exclusive grocery store. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
As part of the deal Publix will support the club's youth soccer camps and mobile fan zone. It will also serve as the presenting sponsor of Orlando's Mane Street Fan Zone for home games.
"Publix is a very active member of the community, and we are grateful for their support of our team and fans," said Orlando City founder and president Phil Rawlins.
"Publix has been great supporters of our youth soccer programmes over the years and are furthering their commitment to the sport at the professional level."
