Major League Soccer expansion franchise Orlando City have added Chick-Fil-A to their growing roster of corporate partners, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The Atlanta-based restaurant chain will support the club throughout their inaugural season in MLS, which begins in March. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Chick-Fil-A plans to run a special promotion for Orlando fans who visit a participating branch on game day. Orlando's first game is against fellow expansion side New York City FC on 8th March.
"We are thrilled to be a partner with Orlando City Soccer Club," said local Chick-fil-A franchise operator Rocky DeStefano.
"We know this will be a great inaugural year! We also appreciate that they, too, are a company that believes in giving back to their community."
In addition to announcing the new deal, Orlando have also named former Octagon Latin America president Alexandre Leitão as their new chief executive.
