Chelsea midfielder Oriol Romeu says there was no split loyalties during their Champions League triumph over Barcelona.

Romeu was in the travelling party for the second-leg at his former club.

"I got to see a lot of friends and I saw all the people with whom I have been working and it was good to ask how things are going. I had friends and family at the match and it was a good chance to see them.

"It was an unbelievable game but we played well," Romeu told chelseafc.com.

"We played two amazing games and we did a good idea because you know that with Barcelona, they always have the possession and you have to defend well, and we defended very well and that is why we are in the Final."
