Oriol Romeu is convinced by the quality of Southampton's squad.

Romeu, who has joined the Saints on a three-year deal from Chelsea, believes the club have a good squad.

“I think we have a good squad," Romeu said. “The last few games we were all new and we have to get to know each other.

“But I think it will be even better in the next games. I'm really looking forward to more games and to keep playing like we did against Norwich City.

“Competition is the key to success. The better players you have on your side, they will make you a better player. I'm sure about the quality of the team.

“We have a very good squad, very good players and we have to be confident with ourselves to go out and do the job."
