Everton chiefs are surprised they're being linked with Orduspor midfielder Jean-Jacques Gosso.

Orduspor chairman Nedim Türkmen has revealed the interest of Everton in Gosso.

"He want to sell Gosso, a couple of clubs are in talks with us over a possible move. Everton are in negotiations with us over a possible transfer," he said.

But the Daily Mail says that's news to Everton who are unable to offer any substantial transfer fees and don't require a player of Gosso's style at this moment.
