QPR have failed in a bid to bring Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha to the club.
The Premier League newcomers were keen to have the 24-year old on loan at Loftus Road next season but the player is keen to stay with City and fight for a first team place.
Onuoah had an impressive spell with Sunderland last term and it looked as though he would again go on loan but he has turned down the chance to join the R's and will remain in the City squad for the upcoming season.
