Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha is excited by the prospect of working with Sven Goran Eriksson.
"He's a proven manager who will be confident of taking the club forward.
"I only met him once, two years ago, when he came into the England Under-21 dressing room to wish us luck before we played France.
"I think he could do a good job."
Former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra is close to completing his City takeover. Onuoha, 20, added: "It will benefit City, I'm sure."
