QPR defender Nedum Onuoha is convinced of an exciting season ahead.

The former Manchester City man feels the Rs can establish themselves as a major Premier League club.

"All being well, this should be a better year for us," he said. "I'm very excited for the new season.

"Last season, there was so much tension in the final months.

"But now there's hope and optimism and who knows what can happen?"
