Tottenham youngster Joshua Onomah says he achieved a nine-year dream by making his full debut for Spurs in their 4-1 Europa League win over Monaco on Thursday night.
The 18-year-old midfielder went close to marking his very first Spurs start with a goal only to see his shot from close range saved late in the second half.
Nevertheless, the academy graduate was over the moon after realising a dream for his hometown club.
"I was so happy to make my first start I could feel the crowd & I wanted to do well," Onomah told Tottenham's official website.
"It was a great start and a fantastic team performance. I was trying so hard to get a goal but that'll have to wait!
"Since I was nine it has been my dream to play for Spurs and I'm delighted to have made my first start."
