Only Manchester United have made contact with Southampton for Luke Shaw.
The Daily Express says reports suggest that United and Southampton were set to engage in a further round of talks over a deal today.
Chelsea have a vacancy at left-back after it was confirmed that Ashley Cole would leave the club at the end of the season, but it seems that Jose Mourinho may have decided against following up his interest in the 18-year-old.
