12Bet, an online betting firm based in the Isle of Man and the Philippines, has agreed a sponsorship deal with Premier League soccer club Swansea City, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

The one-year arrangement will see 12Bet work as the official betting partner of Swansea City for the duration of the 2015/16 season.

12Bet are familiar with the world of soccer sponsorship, having previously acted as the front-of-shirt sponsor for Hull City and Wigan Athletic in the UK as well as Spanish side Seville. 12Bet has also worked as the official betting partner for Newcastle United and Crystal Palace.

Rory Anderson, 12Bet chief executive commented: "We have wanted to work with Swansea for some time now. It's a well-run club and the commercial team there has really taken on board what we are trying to achieve with this sponsorship."

Vice-Chairman and commercial director of Swansea City, Leigh Dineen, said: "We are delighted to team up with 12BET for the first time. They are an established global company that has built up an excellent reputation within the football fraternity in recent years."
