O'Neill rules out winning FA Cup with Sunderland

Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill has ruled out winning the FA Cup this season.

Now fans are fantasising about a return to Wembley — but O'Neill is desperate to keep everyone on Wearside grounded despite the soaring optimism.

O'Neill said: "If a Sunderland fan asked me if it was worth betting on us to win the Cup I would say keep your money in your pocket.

"Honestly, that tenner may buy you something, not a lot of fresh air."
